For 18 years I trained and educated financial advisors on how to build portfolios with a wide variety of financial products including mutual funds, ETFs and annuities. I helped run seminars, dinner meetings, and one-on-one meetings for advisors with clients.
After years of training financial advisors, I came to a cross-point in my career; I could either continue my path of working with other financial professionals, spending my time at their dinner events and seminars, or I could run my own practice, share my industry knowledge and experience with investors, and most importantly, spend more time with my wife and two sons.
Ultimately, I knew investment management and retirement planning could be done a better way. I hope this blog helps bring a little common financial sense to a confusing financial landscape.
